TASMAP is progressively introducing a 1:50 000 Topographic Mapping Series.
This map covers the popular holiday destination of Bridport and nearby world class golf courses at Barnbougle dunes. To the west are the seaside villages of Lulworth, Weymouth and Bellingham which are famous for their white sandy beaches, and inland to the wine regions of Pipers River and Pipers Brook. An ideal map for holiday makers and visitors to the numerous regional and conservation areas.
The design of the 1:50 000 Map Series will provide clear and accurate portrayal of topographic information, with symbols and map content giving enhanced depiction of buildings, hill shading and a simplified classification of vegetation.
