JERUSALEM TL06

TASMAP is progressively introducing a 1:50 000 Topographic Mapping Series.  This map replaces the 1:25,000 map of Pillans (4437).   This map is centred about the iconic and picturesque Walls of Jerusalem and includes the northern part of the national park bearing that name. The map also shows eastern approaches to Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park via the River Forth and Mersey River. A significant part of the elevated Central Plateau Conservation Area is covered by the eastern half of this map. The map is an essential navigation aid for walkers and wilderness fishers.   The design of the 1:50 000 Map Series will provide clear and accurate portrayal of topographic information, with symbols and map content giving enhanced depiction of buildings, hill shading and a simplified classification of vegetation.
