Toboggan FAQs

  • When can I toboggan?
    • The toboggan slope and magic carpet will operate between 10am and 4pm each day during the snow season, when conditions allow.  Use of the toboggan slope outside of these hours is not permitted.
  • Can I bring my own toboggan?
    • No, only toboggans hired from Windy Corner are permitted.
  • How much does it cost?
    • $35 per toboggan on weekdays and $45 per toboggan on weekends.  The price includes toboggan hire and use of the slope.
  • Can we share a toboggan between us?
    • Yes, up to 2 adults may accompany one toboggan.  Only one adult at a time is permitted to ride a toboggan.
  • When should I arrive?
    • We recommend arriving 30 minutes before your session time to give yourself time to get dressed and ready to hit the slope!  Your toboggan will be handed to you at the toboggan slope at the beginning of your session.
  • How long can I toboggan?
    • Each session starts on the hour and lasts 50 minutes.  You will be asked to hand back your toboggan and leave the toboggan slope at the end of each session.  
  • I booked for 2 hours, can I keep tobogganing?
    • Your toboggan needs to be handed back at the end of each 50 minute session.  You will be handed a new toboggan for your next session.
  • How old should my child be to toboggan?
    • Children under 3 years old or less than 135cm in height must be accompanied by an adult.  Children of this age may ride with an adult on a toboggan.
  • Can I be on the toboggan slope if I am not tobogganing?
    • In order to manage safety on the slope we reserve the right to ask non-participating people on the slope to leave the slope when necessary.
